One of the few galleries in London that charge for entry. The exhibition space is incredible, amazing brutalist/modernist architecture. Worth a visit.

A clean and well-organized gallery, known for its brilliant exhibits. We suggest visiting David Shrigley’s “Brain Activity”-- a funny and interesting exhibit displaying everyday life in a comical way.

The Hayward Gallery often has installations that have limited entry (ie one at a time). Go at opening (11am) and go straight to the limited piece to beat the queue! Piece of cake. ????

Still the best gallery in London for contemporary art. Though it lacks a permanent exhibition (you can get that from the Tate Modern) it always deliveries on great exhibitions from modern artists.
